That is very strange. What release of MCC7500 are you running? I have definitely successfully deployed exactly what you are talking about using 7.15 M1 core with enhanced CCGW blades.

Re: MCC7500 v7.15 console. . . . .

Did you get this resolved? First, I would double check the Tone Segment, Tone Sequence, Tone Command, and Tone Table configurations you have setup in PM. First check that the custom Tone Table references the correct Tone Command that would map the F1 TX and F1 Select to the Tone Sequence that sends ...

Re: CEB BIM Addressing

The card you need for to add a base station is a BIM (Base Interface Module), you'll know it by the potentiometer on the front. Find an unused TDM address by looking at your CDM, then add the resource in CDM configured as you need it with that address defined. The DIP switches on the front bottom of...

So, I have recently upgraded my Centracom II (OMI based) to Centracom Gold Elite. So, I acquired the COIM (thanks Rod Farva), the CIE (for $15 on eBay), found some newer BIMs, and ...

I am looking at a quantar control card with part number TTN4094C, SCM v20.10.xxx. Is this SCM v number the same as the firmware? ie, will it support P25/IMBE?

Sorry for reviving this thread.

Astro Spectra W9 Install in '91 Accord

I installed my W9 astro spectra in this old whip today. Only 90,000 miles, it still runs great. Its not done yet, I have not mounted the antennas, just mounted the head and ran power. To mount the head I removed the console and bolted the bracket to the tray in front of the shift. http://i137.photob...

first you need to know the firmware revision and flashcode. both can be determined by powering up the radio and when it completes self test, pressing the lower side button above the PTT switch. The firmware will appear as: Rxx.xx, I dont remember the firmware you need for this off the top of my head...

not low split UHF. You can tell by the slighty larger heat sink on the radio too that it is lowband.

no FPP on a HT1250.

HT1550 has FPP.

as thebigphish said, it can be used for DTMF encoding, dialing phone, MDC calls. but you cannot program frequencies from the front panel on a 1250.
