Thanks otaku All the info was helpfull and i did Decide to get one from the Indonesia ebay seller. now here is my problem, when i read the radio i get two channels and one zone CH1 is 119.0000 RX and TX and CH2 is 121.8800 RX and TX and when i change change CH1 to 224.820 and tab the the next field ...

has anyone played with the the MCS-2000 ( 220 Radio ) on the ham band? If so how well does it work? I don't need an HT on 220 I have a GP280 asian radio ( looks like a GP300 ) that works fine after I worked on the mdf but I would be interested in a MSC2000

Ok lets look at this from a pure software matter, I think Motorola only wrote One ver on the software for the RTX and the CP110 I opened up the RTX exe file with Resource Hacker ( A free Program ) and I see reference to the cp110 and a lot of other things in the string table it shows 432, "MHz&...

I have a 486 laptop I use for programing, i only have dos 6.22 on it and a use a menu Program to launch all my RSS ( Direct Access) This way I boot the the menu and i can label all my Rss with the Ver Number and any other info. I use the MTX 9250 ... You have to Hex Edit the CPS but works great ... I get 3.7 wats on 927.5

Thanks I think I got it, Everything in the radio is 900meg ham stuff from the west coast. I want to keep some of it but get rid of two of the zones and all the stuff in it . I think if I change all the channels to trunked in each zone I can then delete them and then the channel info and then the zon...
