L1548A tone remotes and CommandPLus
Right now as it stands my CommandPlus is set for 4-Wire. The tone remotes L1548a are not. I messed with the dip switchs and when i flip one of them I get RX audo that is garbled or broken up through the console. How should all those dip switches be set for 4Wire and is there anything else required f...

Re: CommandPlus Questions
I can deal with this cable problem but I just need QCII or Plectron paging and the 3 normal alert tones. That is pretty much it. I enjoy this commandplus but just need to get all of its features figured out. I was working off of the Gai-Tronics manual and as you say must be more differences. I will ...

Re: CommandPlus Questions
I like working with the consoles but as far as doing one at home it will have to be more compact. I do like the way this commandplus works if I have to uprgrade it or what not it might not be so bad. I am going to a telephone supply store here in town to see what they can do for my 66 block issue. I...

Re: CommandPlus Questions
Yes, I gave up on the Centracom II+. It was too big to keep and I have had to move a couple of times. I still want to have a small console to mess with. I like the comandplus in that it lets me handle 12 radios. I am going to give GAI-Tronics a call after I pull the version number off of this thing....

Re: CommandPlus Questions
What is the difference between GAI-Tronics and the Motorola version? See when I read the Gai-Tronics manual it said press LOCK+1,+2,+3,+4 Then it would select any of the other Alert Tones. It does let me change some of the paging options but most of it is disabled by the previous owner. I just dont ...

I was given a 12 channel Motorola CommandPlus. I have tried to hit the different alert tones with no luck. Right now it is only sending the 1004hz long tone. Re: Centracom Questions
Yes you are right. The problem is I have the software and RS232 board. Problem is my TOMI board will not allow me to write to the EPROM. I got me some compatible EEPROMs and used a friends burner to copy them. I just can't edit them. So I need a newer tomi or I need one of the original EPROM writers...

Re: Found a Centracom CEB... now what to do with it..
Well you need to look at BLN1170 and see if the chips on it have a peice of white paper on it. If so... Pull it off and see if there is a window on it. If so you need a prom burner. I have that same problem. I am seriously thinking of getting rid of my CCII+ soon. It is too much trouble for me to ge...

Centracom II+ and VOX Idea?
Hi, I am wondering if it would work ok if I decided to just use VOX to key my radios with the console? It is just to costly to use Remote Adapters. I haven't found a burner to program with either. So relay keying is I guess not an option right now. If VOX will work does anyone have a recommendation?...
