You can get new strobe ends and connectors from any one of the major suppliers. Sound Off, Whelen or Federal Signal. Look at pinning of strobe itself to determine which brand it is. For instance Whelen and Sound Off
pin 1 - red pin - black pin 3 - White

I have builtup about 6 of them, 2 K-9's with Hot Dog setups. Quick note, DO NOT try and remove door panels. They are fragile and a pain. That and Sound Off told me not to install a Brake/Reverse light flasher, something about a lighting control module. I suggest rear strobes. Have pics if interested.

What do you mean by pinout, and which model do you have.

If you are using a CID box they are on the box themselves

if you want to know which one is TX and which is RX I can look that up for ya.

The company I work for is a HUGE Code 3 retailer, personally from an installer perspective, they are adequate.
The price is right, they are modular (no main flasher to go out and nuke the bar) and they are durable, but
they are lame

My choice is the Whelen LFL

I have put 4 strobes and a siren system on a Kawaski Mule. The only concern I had was would the draw kill the battery. Check with manufacture of the Cart to find what an acceptable draw would be. [/img]

Just from my experience, my company is a distributor for both and if I had to choose

I would pick Jotto for the looks and the install

and Gamber Johnson for rigidity, they make heavy duty equipment.

Gamber typically ships slower though

that is my two cents
