What it sounds like to me is maybe a timing thing. The HT radios I find need a 2 sec tone and the Minitor will work on a shorter tone. I have a ht 1250 and a M5 and my dept tones are old plectron tones where the second tone is shorter then 2 sec and the HT 1250 will not open like a pager but works ...
