Hello I've read all the post here. But I didn't see a response to one important email that i am interested in.. Can I send the radio to M and have the firmware upgrade? Can you do it yourself? Any Idea how much?

Hello the problem is I turn on my ht1550 no display or tones but the transmit busy light flashes green. If left that way the radio eventually turns on and works fine. If you turn it off the on I have to wait again. The only way to stop the flash light is to remove the battery. The on/off switch ...

YES I found the rated volume in tuner and it was set at 167 so I cracked it to 180 and its a lot louder now. Thank you!!

Question on the building of the ht1250 programming cable
I'm building a programming/flash cable using the schematic from batlabs. My question is pin 3 on p1 doesn't go anywhere. but I have a after market cable that has pin 3 being used but there is no boot control(pin 25) thats why I building my own. Do I need to connect this pin?

MDC SIGNALING PROBLEM
I have a ht1250 with mdc signaling on a channel. The problem is sometimes the MDC shows up and then not at all. Is there setting in the RSS i need to adjust? All radios are set to pre-emp MDC.

Ok well this is what happened. I changed the Case from a limited keypad to a full keypad. Changed a couple of setting in the CPS. And wrote to it..I also add more DTMF CALL and wrote to it several times..Everything was working fine until last night when i left it on and the battery went dead. Put on ...
