I am going to ask a question here, I was told the system for setting all this up works ONLY on 700/800 MHz systems and will NOT work on VHF trunked? Anyone got this to work on a VHF trunked system running 9600kb CC to be able to listen to the system?

Was looking through the page to help decode flashcodes for a XTS3000 VHF with a flash code 580008-00000-3 Firmware 7.00.02.00
DSP N07.03.06 but its not coming up with anything. Is there an error on the page or is this flashcode invalid?

Ok yeah I threw one of the mics on it with a channel selector knob on it as well and it did the same thing. So I will not worry abut the beep. Thanks for the information on that though.

Can you drop a CDM1250 down to 27MHz?

Morning,
I was told that you could drop a CDM1250 down to 27MHz but have yet to see this done. I would think that the PLL would not lock up down that low and that you would have to realign the radio TX side to be able to do this. Anyone have any information on this?

Actually it was my XTS2500 that was decoding the QCII tones the XTS5000 will not do this, happens when you have two radios that look so much alike. I will have to send the 5000 in for updating so it will do QCII encode and decode. The 2500 is what I carry for work and the 5000 is sitting on the test...

I dont recommend running the GM300 full out on TX either as they are not designed to be a full duty repeater. Have you tried playing around with the non-standard reverse burst to see if that works? I have mine turned on for TX channels and turned off for my RX only channels in my radio and that seems to work well. Might start there and see how that does.
