Well all, your not gunna belive it but I was able to read and write and do everything to the radio. Hoever, I did it under a dos box while I was in windows.
Now that I have my 8 channels in it, Is it possible to get 16 ...

Well that was alot of help nand. I have the proer cables and computer and all just something fishy and wierd. I was hoping for some honest help not mockery..

I just found my radios model number in a radmbl rss...however, it still gives me the same error code of op 7 when i try to program the codeplug.
I actually read the radio in a dos box under windows and it read fine and I was able to see all the info in it but I cannot program the codeplug in either ...

I forgot to ask. Is there any way to change the model numbers in the mdf file and redo a checksum or something to add mine to it or change one thats close.
I had heard of this before but never did it.

I downloaded a copy of the radmbl software. I have one that is ver 8 on may the 5th of 93 and another that is ver -1.00.00 on october 1st of 94
