You can open the Squelch of the station with the push buttons on the face of the receiver. I suspect your hearing a signal with an incorrect PL/DPL or NAC if in P25 mode.

The 01-90 error is telling you that the trunk unit isn't talking to the control head. Typically, the remote trunk portion doesn't have power on it. The control head does.

It appears you already have the latest firmware. See the 6.29 in the name (DIUSR04.00-6.29 ) of the unit? BTW, to update DIU firmware, you pull the chips and either update them both, or plug in two new chips that has been updated.
