Hi Wavetar,
I would also like to be moved to the registered users group. I don't post a lot but I have been a member for a few years and regularly visit the forum.
I'd like the be able to post in the Equipment For Sale forum.

Re: XTL5K Remote 05 to 03
Sorry for asking an obvious question, but you are giving it at least 10 seconds to power up before disconnecting anything, right? The O3 tales a lot longer to power on than the O5 and longer even than an Astro Spectra. I want to say it's something like 5 seconds, but don't hold me to that. I have o...

Re: XTL5K Remote 05 to 03
Mid Power. Ignition sense is tied into the rear plug along with USB programming cable and speaker output. Other end of that is runto a fuse block, which runs off a relay thats triggered from the cigarette lighter socket. 05 Head currently turns on fine with ignition no worries. Another suggestion ma...

Re: XTL5K Remote 05 to 03
Tried some more playing today. Nope not getting a fail or maintenance mode, nothing at all screen stays blank, just a very short blip of light. I'm trying straight from the TIB at the radio with out the extension cable, unfortunately i don't have another to swap over. I've tried both can plugs, as w...

XTL5K Remote 05 to 03
I've just changed my control head from a remote 05 to an 03. Radio is programmed with R13, and has soft power off enable so will turn on with ignition, or at the press of the power button. That worked fine on my 05 head. The new set up is the 03 head and 17ft cable (PMLN4958A), same length i had wit...

XTL5K 05 Head - Speaker Output.
Hi All. I just finished installing my XTL, i've connected the speaker to the output from the control head, opposed to the radio itself. This is the cable that has the power cables all in the one too. My problem is I'm now getting no audio. When i tested everything inside last night it was all workin...

Re: XTS 3000 Troubles
I worked out what the problem was with the audio, it was something to do with PL and for some reason the frequency was set as P25 and when changing it back to Analog it buggered up the settings for un-muting the speaker.
Still can't work out why it won't vote however
