Hi,
No LAB is a Motorola RSS which was not intended to be used by people other than Motorola , it somehow made it out of motorola's doors, it is not available to the public, as other RSS is available once you go through their license program

I have done 5- 2 ch maxtrac to 32 ch in the last 24 hours, they all do the same,
they read/write function to spec.
I dont think the double beep is an issue

Yea it should work , the tones reeds in the Minitor have a bit more leeway than the keynote but it should work fine, I have 2 set up on WX w/ alert

I have seen this happen on the older units with the 3 battery contacts and also if your speaker mic connector is not covered ( IE. if you short contacts

If I remember correctly there is a way to mod the volume , but it has been a few years ago now that I repaired the minitor I series,
there is a way to do it by replacing a few minor components on the audio out portion of the decoder board

The only pagers that I have found with a missed page alert is the Minitor II SV, the III probably does it also,
the Keynote and the Director II also go into open squelch after a page but lack the monitor function

Now that could be caused by several things,
the squelch pot may need to be adjusted, computers and other equipment emitting Rf can also cause this.

II still have yet to see a HT1250 with a broken display, we also run 7 of them in vhf,
the units are in use 24/7/365 using NIMH HNN9008AR and the batteries hold up between 16 to 24 hours depending on useage.

I currently maintain 9 HT750 uhf portables at work,
they are good units but as is stated before beware of the older units ( programmed w/ v01.00.00 software) and the old firmware,
they tend to have the most problems.

You could try to build a fresh codeplug using the correct model # and options and try to dump it in a few times I was able to recover one that way

DOS can be accessed by going to shut down menue and choosing restart in DOS -win 95/98 is how i run dos,I also have a 486/25 DOS only laptop, works great for most software,
win 2000 / XP are not "dos based" there is a form of dos but i would advise not using it.

I used the front assembly from my saber 3 136-150.8 and installed it on a saber 1 157-174 mhz,
I then programmed my "new built saber III as a low power H33QXK7139CN model,
the only parts I have left is now a saber 1 136-150.8

I have been doing some "reworking" on the radio, I got it do do some more freqs but when I hooked the radio to the service monitor I learned that while the radio may take the freqs the radio starts to go off freq, it seems the VCO cant hold frequency too much above what the radio is rated for.

I have a saber three, 136-150 split, I programmed it as a H33 series and programmed the freqs the highest being 156.800 , the radio transmitts fine but I am not getting any receive, the pl's are correct the freqs are correct, I did the same with my saber I 157-174 mhz and had mo problem.

MTSX will not programm a mtx810,
they are in a different series, if the mtx is a jedi series ( mtx8000/9000) then i believe the software will work

RADMBL should not be able to program any maxtrac as far as I have seen,
I have both radius and maxtrac mobiles,
but the software is not interchangeable.
I have to use maxtrac for my maxtrac 300
