CP185 Reference Frequency Adjustment

We've got a couple CP185s in the shop that are slightly off frequency and can't seem to find the reference frequency adjustment in the tuner program, or even physically in the radio.

Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Motorola Shop Interview Tips

Thanks for the advice. As for the site, all I know is I'm visiting a client. (So maybe I'm assuming that I'm going to the actual site) Don't know if I'm going up to a vault or anything, if we're doing any repairs or anything. Beyond the location, I just don't know much. I should've asked, but I was ...

Re: Hi, I'm a new 900 addict...

no kidding. It sounds like the old equipment from the 900 LTR systems in my area that dissolved around 2005-2006 are starting to make their way into the ham market around here. There were several GTX mobiles (which by the way 15 watts around here does just fine) that were going for around 50 bucks. ...

Re: A picture is worth a thousand words

The same radio shop had their trunking system, on the center (energized) tower of three; primarily used by a Commercial AM Radio Station. One of the iso-couplers was failing, and desperately needed to be replaced. In order to safely remove an iso-couple, from the feed line of a live tower, the broa...

Re: Hi, I'm a new 900 addict...

Its a good place to start before you put up a repeater....Jim Just thought I'd echo this comment. I recently (this past weekend) got a GTX Portable at a hamswap for $40(!) with a rapi...

Re: Apollo Pager Programming

I realize that, but this board has the collective knowledge to take over a continent or two and that's why I asked. :) If anyone can tell me how to modify a Motorola pager to do the same thing, I'm all ears. I'd rather use batwing equipment anyway :)

Apollo Pager Programming

I've been searching the net from head to toe and trying to figure out how to program an Apollo Pager to pages for a range of capcodes (as in using a wildcard in the capcode) There's another thread ( http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36523&p=173028&hilit=+apollo#p172819 ) th...
