Radios used during that time would be Motorola, GE, RCA, and Aerotron. Each manufacturer offered various controls to accommodate features such as multi-channel, multi-PL, multi-single tone, DTMF, and scan. That's the short version.

That unit is designed to be used with an Astro Spectra mobile radio, which was available in two VHF ranges: 136-151 MHz and 150-174 mhz. An interconnect cable is used between the radio and the siren.

Is anyone else experiencing trouble logging in to MOL using Internet Explorer? I receive a red message that my browser does not support cookies, but cookies are enabled and switching between compatibility and normal mode doesn't seem to make any difference. Make sure the VIP connector with jumper is seated in the rear of the A7 head. Either this jumper needs to be in place for PTT or a jumper inside the head.

I don't know how many of your parts are useable, but I found that Motorola sells a kit, H1527A, to modify the low/mid power Astro Spectra to remote mount. This kit is not shown in the P&A catalogue, but in the sales manual. Not cheap, but available.
