Re: Mobile Repeaters and NAC's
That's good to know. Unfortunately finding documentation for the Futurecom DVRS is not easy. From previous posts on this forum it looks as though Futurecom is very strict as to who obtains their products and documents. Having said this, any purchase from say a well known action site, would be a gamb...

Mobile Repeaters and NAC's
In the way that a Quantar preserves all information like voice frames, Talkgroup ID's and Source ID's and for digital rebroadcast, but can change the Tx NAC from the Rx NAC, are there any mobile or portable products on the market that can perform the same function? Re: Pocket PC Keyloader
The Tait Keyfill Device (KFD) uses the Trimble Recon as the hardware. As for obtaining the software for the keyloading, haven't seen it anywhere at all.

What is the brand of the duplexer? Some of the cheap notch duplexers out there aren't the best performers. Do you have a picture of it?

Re: Quantar resets on Page and Call alerts
Would an upgrade be something I should try myself if I obtained a later firmware file?
or, should I buy a later model Station control model off ebay?

Re: Quantar resets on Page and Call alerts
I'm guessing the firmware does require updating. I have only just aquired the Quantar. Wildcard is disabled on the hardware config page, and there is no data entered on any of the three Wildcard pages. Here is the Firmware Data: Station Control F/W: R016.08.008 Station Wireline F/W: R016.08.003 Stat...

Wireless Pacific BDX5000 P25 Repeater
Wireless Pacific are marketing the BDX5000 25Watt P25 repeater for AU$ 3300.00 (US$3000), quite cheap.
Has anyone had any experience with these units?
Are they good quality or are they cheap double vocoded type gear?
Any info anyone!
Cheers
