Dropped VHF HT1000 now it will not turn on

Hey y'all, I accidentally dropped my HT1000 the other day and now it won't turn on. I've tried different batteries to see if that was the issue but no dice. Any ideas of what to look for would be helpful. If it's non fixable I have a spare so it's no big deal.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Motorola Oddballs through the years

Everything I had read pointed to it being an MCX but I couldn't find out for sure. They were fixing to trash it at work so I picked it up. Seems to work just fine. Does anyone know if they have issues like the spectas with leaky caps? Also have a spectra clean cab.

Re: Motorola Oddballs through the years

Not sure how much of an oddball this is but it is a railroad clean cab radio. Not sure on the model though.

Shoulder mic protectors

Does anyone know who makes the shoulder mic protectors that slip over the mic to help keep the elements out? I've tried google and no luck. Thanks for the help.

Re: Motorola SM 120 channel buttons

Thank you for the replies and ideas. I will try cleaning the contacts first and if that doesn't work I will try some of that conductive coating.
