EEprom Error. Did you attempt to flash the radio without the proper equiptment??

No...

The radio with its battery was carried in my luggage in my trunk and was found when unpacked to be turned on with a dead battery.

Radio has no response except when Powered on with "D" pressed it displays ...

Mounting 3 Mag Mounts on my 03 TB .. I routed the cables down the front thru the rubber moulding as it went around the door frame .. . and then in thru the door area up under the dash .. later I may go ahead and drill the holes .. but for now it works well ..

And 2 of the radios (both lightweight ...

This is assumed from what you state to be Motorola Factory Sanctioned and so is there a spec sheet that lists how this complies with NTIA?

Uhoh.. I see your dilemna.... Pin 1 on the DB25 connector is GROUND with pin 15 being BUS+ (deduced from looking at the cable for the HT1000 on this link http://www.batlabs.com/images/mt2kpin.gif )

The major problem that comes up is that under CAP the radios will need to be compliant for both Narrow and Wide (and for funding purposes for newly acquired P25 compliant) to work with those in the infrastructure that will be either Narrow or Wide (IE: Marine channel 16 will end up staying Wide ...

We are using them for CAP and with freqs lower than 144 and above 155 they tend to be helpful...

Per the Users Guide for the P1225 under "Battery Status Indicator":
When the battery is fully charged, a double high-pitched tone sounds at radio startup. (100% charged)
