Re: Help determining problem with CP200d
It was suggested to me to try to power up the radio in flashzap mode (press two side buttons during power up) which indeed allowed the radio to boot up normally. After the next power cycle the radio started once again booting up normally and problem solved. Thank you..

Help determining problem with CP200d
I have this CP200d (VHF) from a customer that was working fine, according to him it was turned off in the evening for the day and put into the charger. Next morning upon power up the LED on the radio comes on, but no boot confirmation tones. The LED stays on all the time and the radio is completely ...

Re: CPS v2.0 question, anyone experienced with it?
Yes that definitively would be of great help be able to work in v16 CPS until getting ready to write the radios. Fortunately finally got all 50 radios programmed and ready for drop off tomorrow to customer. I had to use Rx only neutered stubs to be able to place my last active channel on position 16...

CPS v2.0 question, anyone experienced with it?
Hi, I am for the first time starting to use the new CPS v2.0 that came with the radios and repeaters that I purchased. I am trying to program several portable radios with digital channels 1-3, and then program one last digital channel on position 16 (and leaving 4-15 blank). My issue is that when I ...

Re: HT750 Radio Brain dead? Short Low error tone on power up
But of course I have a service manual, how else would I be able to do some of the in-depth tests I just described? Otherwise on this radio it would be the equivalent of trying to take measurements with with a white cane and dark glasses. I do have 40 years experience with M equipment, including boar...

Re: HT750 Radio Brain dead? Short Low error tone on power up
Excuse me, but how can it be a battery problem if the radio boots up, sounds error tones when powered up and when side/top buttons or PTT are pressed, the 16.8MHz main oscillator is working....etc. Besides I never use a battery to test a radio on the bench. DOH. I can also now add that both 3.3V (IC...

HT750 Radio Brain dead? Short Low error tone on power up
Hi, this is a HT750 radio that was working fine and suddenly developed a strange zombie like state. In all my years dealing with these older HT series radios never seen these symptoms. Not sure this radio was actually dropped, it looks clean no marks outside. When the radio is powered up a short low...

Mtrbo Error #1243 Upgrade Firmware
I just installed the digital subscriber with two separate Entitlement IDs purchased from Motorola into two DEP450 radios, one went without a hitch, but the second one has now a problem. Everything was going well during the feature activation process except the last step where the radio firmware is s...
