The rib-less cables work GREAT!!! I bought one from ebay to program my HT1000 and the sellers name is panter88 he's out of Hong Kong but he ships fast!! and his cables aren't junk (made Well) It was so easy to hook up and everything went smooth.

No I feel that it wasn't pointless!! I must not have understood when I read the manual, but I looked further into the manual and I see where it states how to adjust but I just didn’t understand if I was doing it exactly right.... I must be slow..... But thanks for your concern.

I have been trying to make adjustments to the A,B,C switch it the correct programming screen but I can't seem to make the change that I want.

What I have been trying to do is: (A)High Power 5 watts) (B) Low power 1 watt and (C) Scan.

Like I stated I have never programmed a Jedi radio before but I plan on doing so soon. I was just making sure that I do everything right. I don't want to make any errors. And I would be programming a simplex (direct) radio to radio with no repeater. Thanks everyone

The question I have is:I tried something odd by putting a VHF antenna on a UHF radio and seems to work great!!!

The reason I had done this is because the (2) radio's were making a crackling sound on TX because of the UHF antenna's.
