ordered a inexpensive MS-147 to SMA cable. Requires disassembly. There is a roughly $25 straight adapter on the major parts sites. Not sure it's long enough to avoid disassembly on the 7000 but may work on the 3000 series. They do have longer/ deeper ones but then you get back to the $122 price tag.

looked at the same issue and posted a question to see if there was a standard connector that would fit.

For a single radio I would just use a smaller 50 ohm coax with a center pin and tack the ground close by.

The connector has a built in switch to disconnect the antenna and matching components.

sounds like a plan to me .

Plenty of HW available to do this.

Not sure if the main system is trunked or conventional ...usually use a four wire remote on trunked for the talk permit tones.

Also set the furthest remote to have the termination and the rest unterminated.

use the FDB tool and see if that can get you close. other way would be get a SREC/bin file of a codeplug that's aligns to the correct model and force write . you can correct manually in the bin file or try FDB. you will have to search and read ...all of this was on P25 which is now gone not for newb...

the N connector and bracket are actually part of the input attenuator assembly which Motorola OEM'd from a couple of vendors. The actual pad connections were really intended for a rigid PCB and not intended to tolerate any flex you get from the N connector. Guess using an inline 20db pad would avoid...

you were very lucky ...I have only seen a broken input connection on an R26XX one other time. Usually the input pad fails due to the duty cycle being exceeded and just the overall thermal stress on the device. Be very careful on testing high powered devices ...my rule is to NOT connect them directly...

you can use the Astro Spectra Plus for the control head microphone on the W series

You can also connect via the rear accessory connector either USB or RS-232.

have repaired numerous ones with the CWT issue ...scope period not that often. those tests are each specific to an assembly in most cases.

I would bypass the IDEN slice and flash the firmware to the standard r26XX version. Slice may have died but there could be other issues as well. A new battery would help the calibration at power up as well. The cal routine should only needed based on the temp change and the later R2600 maintains at ...

the ten indicates the option board is installed for DPL and DTMF decode etc ... it's in the user manual on reptr builder IIRC

If you have an empty slot in the R2410 than they may moved it to the R2200 ...would have been an R2210 if it had it from the factory

chances are one of the pads is open. Not really repairable if that is the case.

Normally the dbm levels are easier to work with since the unit is a 0 to -127dbm 1dbm step attenuator

Good news for you is the part is still available ( bad news is a new one is very expensive )

sorry ..different monitors different nomenclature for essentially the same thing. ( AUX, GEN , Duplex etc ... ) That would be the GEN port on the R26XX. If the output level is close to the GEN setting at the center frequency using the correct adapter instead of the filter than maybe they tuned it to...

Which output port did you use ? I think you may want the Duplex since that is 0dbm to -80dbm.

If that is off check the fuses on the antenna and duplex ports

not sure how you have your unit configured but I would start with jumpering the selected output to the antenna and verify that you get roughly the same level at the center freq. The R2600 TG is not all that flat at wide dispersions and you tend to get a sawtooth when the SW stitches the screens toge...
