Re: DMR feature in APX

I heard from a birdy that they are planning on implementing this, but the radio will only support DMR or P25, and to change modes you will need to reboot it. So no DMR/P25 existing side by side. This definitely smells like some BS Motorola would pull Ah, like Kenwood's approach in the NX-3000 serie...

HMN4103 replacement parts?

I have an HMN4103 (display with no channel knob) and it took a hit in the right wrong spot and put a good crack in the display plastic. So I have 2 questions. What's the pricing on a 1000 look like for comparison? I'm guessing you may have a DP4600/4601 or DP4800/4801 with a 7550 label/case on it. What's the model number of your radio? If you're in the US/Canada and it's a radio meant for the US/Canada, it should begin with AA (North America). If it's not, it'll probably begin with MD ot LA.

It does look a lot like a satellite radio antenna connector. I wonder if you had a spare one laying around and it's not required, try the connector to see if it fits and if so, cut it up and try using that?

I guess it depends on how old your radios are. Motorola issued FSB10894A in Jul 2014 regarding APX 6000 & 6000XE's shutting down without user intervention.

I believe there was an updated one showing the actual serial number range of the affected portables, I just can't find it.
