What would be an acceptable telco circuit db loss for proper function of MTR2000s and the Spectra-Trac comparatot. Today we were sitting around -16dB when everything was checked at the site.

The issue ended up being a bad tone remote, not interference as initially diagnosed. F1 on console into control station worked fine but when channel changed to F2 only able to TX no RX into console.
Tone remote being replaced.

No 2 DPLS 026/343. We are chaning more channels over to narrowband and I hope the list does not grow. I did have an MDC1200 issue with ID 2023 with a few CDM1250s while back.

The DSP 8.03.02 Host 7.23 codeplug 000C. All of the other radios are HT1000/MTS2000/HT1250 and are programmed the same. There are no issues with the other radios and the 2 narrowband conv. channels with DPLs. Both Channels involved are around 460.00

Radio powers up fine with antenna off. We replaced the coax in the original hole and covered it with protective covering this time . The old coax looks like someeone took a utility knife to it. The radio is know working properly.

I just received a flyer from a vendor with some realistic 19" UPS and Power supply costs. This will take a good size dent from the oringial quote using a CDM1250. I was also given the name a a company the produces 19" rackmounts for the CDM Radio. Things are looking better for this project.

The current console setup has 4 positions; each position has a UPS and the computers and phone systems have seperate a UPS systems. The entire building has generator power (multiple units). The building that the center is located houses numerous agencies that require power in the event of a failure.
