Store and forward, we have seen that, not what they want. What they need to do is transmit and receive on 154.xxxx and transmit and receive on 158.xxxx , they repeater does this in each direction. Called Telewave and they said it could be done. Thanks.

Motorola CDM Issue
Has anyone had the following issues with a CDM VHF:
1.) On Mabas RED frequency, the transmit audio is distorted, unreadable, works great on all other frequencies.
2.) How do you get radio on power up to go to a designated channel ?

I have a mobil repeater connected to a CDM 1250. It uses the Discriminater , pin # 11, can I also connect the Sentraloc to the same pin without causing any loading problems. Thanks.

The software said that only fine tuning of the squelch is available , the master squelch level can only be done internally. Is there a pot in the radio, I can not find it in my service manual .

How do you set the master squelch setting in a 100 watt remote head MCS2000 ? I can find per channel the fine squelch setting.. We are switching over to narrow band, when we programmed the radio , half the channels had open squelch on them.

When you change channels via the UHF repeater with the remote channel selector board , the voice tells of the channel you are on, but it transmits it on both radios. We only want it on the UHF repeater .

I have a VHF PM400 and a UHF SVR200 with RSC board. I only want to have the broadcast of a channel when changed on the UHF SVR repeater. Pyramid said it cannot be done, Has anyone tried this ?

New PM1500 with remote head. Software 17.00. turrn radio on get FL 01-90, turns off and then comes on with " Maintenance Mode". Try to sync with radio but selection screen for remote head is too large and I cannot select pprper method. Any Idea ??

Any one know how to disable front keypad completely on a CP200 XLS. There is a key lock /unlock option on the side buttons, but when you turn radio off and then back on, you have to reset the option for key pad to be locked. Fire Department says this is unacceptable.

CDM dead, I have 2 radios doing this. All voltages check out in the radio, 5 volt, 9 volt 12 volts. 5 volts at on off switch. Could it be the Y0101 crystal ? Can no longer talk to Motorola technician, $ 290 flat repair fee. Thanks.

Neither has a serial port, using a USB adapter cable. Cm and CDM software both have same error message on the 32 bit Compaq. Tried with USB pugged in, still same message.
