Re: XTS2500 Service Mode
I used the 19.60.5, it's a 4 meg so it would have went up to R16.00.01. When I read the radio with CPS, it shows the tuner version as 'unknown'. I've never seen that before.

Re: XTS2500 Programming
Tony, I believe I ran into the same problem with an older XTS2500 (might of been a 1500). There was a secondary setting somewhere that I had to manipulate. I also had issues with my key not loading properly at first which caused me to be unable to change those settings. I will fire up the laptop an...

Remote speaker mic problem with an MT-1500 800mhz. New officer received a brand new MT-1500 from Motorola. We have tried several different speaker mics, all to no avail. I didn't see anything in the programming? Either the radio is the problem, or I am.. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the info. Do you know the part number for the 'serial programming cable'? I'm going to order that on Tuesday.

Re: The HT1250 EEPROM fix Secret
Maybe I'm doing something wrong here. I'm trying to fix one of our Dept. CDM1550's with the EEPROM Error with 6.11.05. I get the option to 'Recover the radio with the default codeplug', I choose that option, click 'Ok' then it looks as if the program is working, then the CPS is "Not Responding'...

The REX kit comes with pretty much everything you need, except for the label, as not above. The one thing to be aware of, as with any Professional Series refurb kit, is that you have to deal with the accessory / audio flex, which is stuck to the case with a thin adhesive strip. It is possible to ge...
