They will keep working below 80%. They will work until they will not charge. We have Impres batteries for MTS2000 that are 1/2 capacity after 10 years.

Re: What's the point of an Impres lithium battery?

Impres batteries for our XTS5000 last an average of 4 to 6 years in police. They are assigned their radios. Non impres last 2 years. In fire service, we see 3 years average but that is 1300+ charges. They usually have 30 re-condition cycle. This is why you buy impres, the re-condition cycle, won't c...

You will need to put the green wire on battery and the orange wires is the one that goes to ignition.

Just checked with an W7 astro spectra plus in my office. Your problem should be fixed when you make the above changes.

Could it be TX Clear Alert Tone? It is just a beep when you transmit to tell you are in the clear and not encrypted.

That is underneath the Secure tab, then Advnaced tab.

XTS3000 and Astro Saber use a seperate CPS from the new XTS series. It's CPS is called XTS 3000 and Astro Saber CPS.

XTS 5000 usesa new CPS called Astro 25 CPS.

The XTS 5000 uses a Ribless programming cable while the XTS 3000 needs the rib.
