They will keep working below 80%. They will work until they will not charge. We have Impres batteries for MTS2000 that are 1/2 capacity after 10 years.

Re: What's the point of an Impres lithium battery?
Impres batteries for our XTS5000 last an average of 4 to 6 years in police. They are assigned their radios. Non impres last 2 years. In fire service, we see 3 years average but that is 1300+ charges. They usually have 30 re-condition cycle. This is why you buy impres, the re-condition cycle, won't c...

XTS3000 can do both a 3600 and a 9600 system at the same time. The 3600 system is limited in features. We had this done in mid 2000's.

You will need to put the green wire on battery and the orange wires is the one that goes to ignition.
Just checked with an W7 astro spectra plus in my office. Your problem should be fixed when you make the above changes.

You should see PROG as one of the menus on the display. Press that, then you should get the option you can program. You should see SCAN, press that. Then you get SEL And DEL. So go through the channels like you did on the A7 and Sel and DEL the accordingly. Press the Home button to clear out of Scan...

Are the radio's secure?
Could it be TX Clear Alert Tone? It is just a beep when you transmit to tell you are in the clear and not encrypted.
That is underneath the Secure tab, then Advnaced tab.

We got version 9 now for XTS, XTL and Astro Spectra + and they do show the ID on the analog talkgroups like they did on the IMBE talkgroups.

Sti-Co does make a low band antenna to replace your am/fm. It is not very wide banded. I have seen them on some local county cars in my area. They had to back and be retuned by Sti-Co. So put one window mount for VHF/UHF and then a Sti-CO for the am/fm. You are covert as you are going to get with 33...
