Re: Sort available scan list channels in MOTOTRBO CPS

Not really. You can search the scan list available channels by the first letter of the channel name. The order you put them in the scan list itself determines in what ORDER they are scanned (top to bottom). In the left windows, type the letter or number of the channel you want to find (ei: 'W' for '...

Why on earth would you make a single repeater into a cap+ system? Every subscriber is going to have trouble with channel grants, especially if you have the SIT and the other timers set incorrectly. HAve you actually read the system planner?

IT is not cost effective. Really the only thing you don't have to swap out with the upgrade is the cage frame and the power supply.

The SLR8000 is probably most cost effective as the MTR3000 is end of life, and the upgraded MTR2000 is REALLY end of life.

This is a defect (or maybe intentional) in recent versions. It is possible to remove the depot flag by modifiying the software, but JSC radios used to show factory instead of Depot.

There is a tracking mechanism built into the radios firmware now that tracks modifications.

As long as you do not plan to link the repeater or have off-site diagnostics, mixed mode will work. Once you link the repeater to a network, the network WILL go down every time someone uses the repeater in analog.

All new Trbo radios come with RAS standard and there is a RAS key entered automagically from the factory. If you have an entry there, delete the entire key and the entry using the 'delete' option, and that should fix the issue.
