In the model number of a VHF Spectra is +067W, I am not sure what this means,,,I think it indicates receiver preamp installed?

I have a UHF purc5000 with the advanced control tray..I am trying to make a 440 rptr wirh it, having trouble figuring out how to pass analog audio thru it to the TX. It will key up with a rf signal as long as it has a digital or 1000 hz tone. Would I be better off modifying it to use a CAT-300 ...
