1) On the channels which have MDC Receive signalling, when another transmitting radio is keyed up, the MDC data burst is sent and is heard on my ...

People Finder LT
Hello...
My fire department uses a Motorola People Finder LT for two-tone encoding. We have a list of the 2-digit numbers to enter to page our department, but we would like to add additional tone frequencies for different paging purposes (officers, engineers, etc.) but don't know how to determine ...

ok I troubleshot that problem, but my new problem is with the Vega console itself. It was programmed to change the DeskTrac from channels 1 to 4, but I added 7 more channels to the MaxTrac. I was able to program the Vega remote to climb to channel 11, but it still only operates the DeskTrac between ...

Desktrac w/Vega C-2000 Remote
Hello...
My fire department utilizes a Motorola Desktrac as its main radio, and a Telex Vega C-2000 is used as a tone remote for transmitting and receiving in the station. I am interested in utilizing the base radio for scanning, but I am unsure if that will cause an issue with the remote. In ...

Motorola People Finder LT
Hello.
My fire department utilizes the Motorola People Finder LT for tone encoding. I wasn't sure if anyone is familiar with it or knows where any type of information or user's manual can be acquired, because I haven't had any luck thus far. I had never heard of one before-it's gray with an LCD ...

The channel is my main fire channel, I want to be able to scan but monitor for a QCII alert--I have that much accomplished, I just want the radio to resume scanning afterwards...like I said it's not unheard of, as I have accomplished it on my HT1000 using the "auto reset" feature...but it doesn't ...

HT1250 QCII/Scan Question
Hello...
I currently have my HT1250 programmed for QCII with "OR" signalling, but if I have the radio in scan and I receive an alert, the radio stops scanning and "Call received" remains on the display with the amber LED flashing until the PTT or Monitor buttons are pressed. Is there any way for ...

Minitor Fire Station Alerting
Hello...
I am looking to hook a bell up to a Minitor II or a Minitor IV to ring for a set amount of time (5 seconds maybe) whenever the pager receives a call. I have an amplified charger for both the II and IV, and programming capabilities. How exactly would such be done (as easily and inexpensive ...

HT1250 Scan Problem
Hello...
My fire department recently purchased a batch of HT1250 radios and the CPS software. The radios were programmed with the priority channel dictated by the channel knob selector, with a priority sample rate of 750ms. When the radio is placed in scan mode, it scans correctly until a signal is ...
