Re: Desktrac transmits constantly at power on
I happen to have another front panel board ((FRN5353B) around somehow. Replacing said board seemed to have cured the TX @ power on problem, but only for a while. If I leave the board connected OR key the mic/front panel TX button, it keeps transmitting until the TOT kicks on OR i kill the power. Odd...

Hey all, got my hands on a desktrac repeater (L35SUM7000BT) for some use on the ranch. On power it transmits constantly, and only stops when the time out timer kicks the transmitter off. I cant see any evidence of damage, though the seller noted that it had been recently changed from 12V dc only ope...

Hey all, I have an odd problem here. I was programming an XTS3K for a friend last night. He'd left said radio in the car for a bit, and it was cold. I dont plan on using ALL 255 personalities and I dont plan on having all 16 slots in each zone filled either. 60 (ish) personalities assigned over 5 or so zones would be nice, especially if the radio is capable of 255. 50 does sound fair, but if CPS is saying that the radio is capable of more, that ...

Hey all,
I have an MTS2K. Currently it is only flashed H43/H38 (smartzone systems and remote monitor/trace), but needs to be re- or un-flashed to do plain old conventional systems (H35).
Since flash upgrades for the MTS2K's are NLA, Is there any way to make this happen?
