That was the complaint...the cars with the strobes were stopped...the oncoming traffic was getting blinded by the overhead strobes. They can be turned on and off separately from the blue and reds.
The sound of the strobes is neat, though...just like the old days with a camera.

I don't see any replies and didn't want to post the same question as a new one.
The Gall's website has the "regular" sounds but I have not been able to find Unitrol tones on the net...anywhere...
Can somebody post 'em or e-mail 'em?

Totally Strobular, Dude...
They have to out-strobe the guy down the road so you can see them...Philly PD, years ago, when they first got the Federal lightbars, got complaints about the white strobes blinding oncoming motorists...Strobes are being put on EVERYTHING
