I'll 3rd that comment. We see that a lot here when the batteries have gone south. Check the date code on your battery. If it's several years old I'd wager that is the problem.

Re: Monitor Trbo

It is possible that the radio is password protected so that you can not read it or whoever programmed it may have left it unlocked. Again, with brute force you have to find the correct color code and the correct group id so I'd say your chances are slim at best. On a side note I'd say if anybody has...

I believe you have to know the repeaters color code, plus the group ID number of whatever it is you want to listen to. In short, I don't think so.

I say to each their own. You have to do what works right for you, and your vehicle. While I agree drilling holes is better I personally get very sick of seeing, "Nice install, next time drill holes", or "Man up and get the drill out" when people are showing off their ride. If peo...

I can't speak for certain but I would bet that they do it in digital. As I understand it since they use TDMA, they use one channel for voice and the second for data, including signaling, text messaging, and the GPS. But I'm just a layman so take my post with a grain of salt. :)

Re: MotoTRBO

We tested them out for two weeks. I think personally they preformed better then our ht1250's. In analog they sound much clearer. In digital mode they sound a bit "warbly" but still work decently. I'd say range is comparable to the ht1250's, we didn't notice much difference in simplex. Over...
