Firewall help on 2011 Explorer Eddie Bauer.
Last Explorer I needed to run power through the firewall was a 2004 XLT. Easy peasy. Now I'm trying to do the same on a 2011 Explorer Eddie Bauer edition, and it's a real headache. First, Ford placed some type of molded sound proofing material against the firewall face, not the old reclaimed carpet ...

Re: Looking for Permanent Mount Cell Phone Pwr supply
Are you looking for a mini-USB terminated direct wire power cord? I only ask because most cellphones are going to them for power/data, and the 5 volt requirement. If so, check this out- http://www.gpsgeek.com/products/gusb5v-b-direct-wire-12-30v-dc-hardwire-pigtail-cable-for-garmin-nuvi-gps-205-255-...

Anyone have experience replacing volume pot on a HT-1250?
Have a HT-1250 that the user tried to yoink the knob and tore the shaft straight out of the pot on the chassis. I REALLY don't want to send this to my local dealer as it will automatically go to depot as they don't do any repairs on any item at all. Anyone ever do one of these? Any advice? Should I ...

CDM RIBless serial to rear accessory cable-does this exist?
I program our agency CDM-1250s in our Special Ops truck. Up till now, all were intact radios-with a recent overhaul, some have been changed over to remote heads. Is it: a)possible to program them through the rear accessory port with a non-RIB cable, and b)does a cable (serial-->accessory connector) ...

Need help running wiring in 2004 Explorer XLT
Besides the little passthrough in the firewall in the foot well of the passenger seat in a 2004 Explorer XLT, are there any other ready made holes through the firewall that will work?

Rx only Ht-1250 UHF LS operation hints please!!
Looking to use a UHF HT-1250 LS model on a Motorola analog Smartzone trunking system as a receiver ONLY. I have never programmed a trunking system into a HT before and 1) want to make sure I can follow the system without issues, and 2)ensure that in no way am I going to interfere with system operati...

Logging recorder/iDen interface needed!!!
I'm trying to find an available solution for a dispatch center. We use iDen i305 handheld Nextels, and we need to start recording them on our Mirra system-any ideas on cables, interfaces, solutions. All our vendors are less than helpful.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Can you connect 2 CDM-750s to make a repeater?
Have a buttload of UHF CDM-750s on the shelf, and I was wondering if I could pair them up as repeaters. Otherwise, time to sell them. Anyone can help, much appreciated.
