What you have is a hi end T-Pass combiner. Really good quality woth several thousand dollars, however how much need is there for 900 Mhz stuff these days?

Any radio sent for repair that needs a controller fix comes back 8 Meg
but yeah an upgrade to 10.00 is no go unless you have the 8 meg board

Heating loss! How about fire risk. Depends what sort of current you intend to draw and what rating the cable is as well as how much is opn the coil etc. Guidelines from mine safety to consumer groups say dont use it coiled. a shuffled band plan is simply The control channel says on go to channel RF channel 6. My radios says ok :wink: :wink: and goes to RF channel 9 where the conversation takes place. basiclly the control channel is performing some very basic coding that is easy to crack and im sure the next lot of scan...

When we upgraded our MSF's I ordered 5 Quantros without the PA's.
then put in the MSF PA's.

The upgrade from II+ CRT to ELite was return the CIE and get a new one at a discount.
Based on this and that the circuitry is very different no.

I agree its the same firmware but how about the boot system or whatever the real embeded code is in.
I actually asked at the Orlando MTUG last year when the 1.5 was formally introduced as I wanted to migrate my 1 to 1.5's
I asked the guy that did the subscriber presentation and that was his answer.

If you use full spectrum scan you dont need to add any frequencies as the radio will look for a valid control channel and system id and work it out for itself.

It can also do emergency call as well as emergency alert depending on how the system manager wants the system to work.
We only use call.

I enquired about making a model 1 XTS2500 into a 1.5 and was told that whilst the hardware supported it there is no display driver in the firmware.
I never tried swapping a case to see what would happen.

You dont need frequencies what you need is a system key ( an encrtpted file with the id). If it is P25 contact your local system administrator. you also need to look at your flashcode and see if it 9600 trunking or just 3600. This is assuming that your neighbours have gone P25 trunking. well the til solution is about 10,500 with one radio(P25, des-ofb,sz) so add 2 more radios at abou 3 grand a piece
he should get out of it for say 17,000.

theres another helicopter one that takes three XTL5000 W9's and converts them to one control head. I will post the link tomorrow when I'm back at work. The Control head in the new NSW Ambo's rescue choppers(CHC) are called a NAT TH450B control head that can fully control 4 radios via the 1 display!...

not really as you would normally use 0dB antenas to keep them small. the til.com solution uses XTS5000 which gives you 4 or 5 watts max. At least this way we get 10 watts. Our lot just bought a Eurocopter and my first task is to sort out the radios. I intend on 2 x XTL5000 radios with the low power ...

I had an AC fail and we didnt have the moscad temp sensor working.

Most of the new features for the XTS2500 only work with B version radios wheich began shipping earlier this year.

try and remove the top cover on the radiovery carefully at the bottom and remove the boards and the battery contacts.
From there a bit of brute force should solve the problem.

Also are they both impres as there is a smart battery warning adjustment under advanced in radio waide but that tells you how early the beep starts.
