You need the W series TIB and ribbon cable for it as well. A TIB for an O series head will not work with any W series head.

It would have been easier to just use an O3 head with what you have.

can't be done, the RF board does not support the 700Mhz P/S band and it won't move up to the 900 Mhz band either.

i'd look more towards the whole multiswitch in the column, all the lights you speak of go thru it It's a known issue with the LCM (Light Control Module), over heats and the relays fail. In addition to the remote heads mentioned above, get rid of all of the excess cable and wiring in the various boxes (light control and radio box). It will work just fine, I had done this back when I had 3500 in a busted case and was waiting on a new case to show up. Moved to a spare 3000 case I had.

The buttons are not part of the case, they can be moved as well, I have several Yellow case 3000s with the 3500 key membrain.

I have searched and failed, I am looking for the pinouts needed to hook up a TNC to a high power Spectra?

I have a few spare VHF units that I would like to play with.

yep, those are VHF pass-rejects and can be tricky to tune for 600khz offset if you are not patient or well equipped. you tune each side to pass it's appropriate freq, then tun the little gold caps to reject the other freq, then if necessary repeat until you have about 80-90db rejection on each side...

Instead of building a box for the heads, look for used console (Havis Shield, Troy, Jotto, etc.). The drawers can be mounted side by side. Two VHF into one antenna? No park kill circuit, you will need to install a micro switch in contact with the shifter so it is closed when in park and open when not.

So to make my own cable for the DB25, I need pins 16 (IGN), 24(SPKR-), 25(SPKR+).

Do I need to do anything with pin 13(EMERG)? I.E. do I need to ground it as on the 26 pin accessory connector for a dash mount?

STOP!! After CPS9, radios must have Q52 AND Q53 to program, and trunking cannot be in the flash. It also requires that the first 240 channels each have a personality with them. It's really stupid and makes it difficult to have 1000 channels in the radio when the radio only goes up to 255 personalit...

The radio was mine before I sold it to the OP and it was a used/hacked radio when I got it. I had no issues with it over the time I owned it, and the control board very well could be from a UHFL radio,

I don't believe a full size controller will fit the mini light bar, and Whelen never made the mini liberty with Ballast light heads.

Doesn't exist, best bet is to install a micro switch and pull whatever signal you want (+ or -) through it. Set the switch to close when the shift lever is in park.

I have had to do this on several F-150s from 2004 to current and it hasn't failed yet.
