Morning Max, What you also need with that big RF relay is a Ramsey RFS1 kit or similar. This would trigger your large relay to switch between transmit and receive without having to use logic from the MCS2000 If you were to only use the MCS2000 for activation of the relay you would have to insert a ...

I'm think of using my desk mic RMN5068A
I thought of using the monitor button ( left ) to activate the relay ,then use the PTT ( right ) to TX
This way there is no delay.

If i use the CX800N-12 Coaxial relay, DPDT, Type-N (6 female), 12v, Tohtsu using 12vdc to trip the relay, wouldn't that be fast enough to do the job ?
The relay is rated for 800watts.

Can someone help me figure out a way using the Pinout for the Accessory Connector on a MCS2000 UHF 100 watt to hook up a relay. I need the radio to trip a relay when it's keyed up for TX. Thanks for the reply. I did send the unit to Ted at Henry radio for testing and tuning and asked if they could convert the unit into a simplex operation. Henry radio only makes a 100 watt simplex model , not a 200 watt. All the 200 watt are for repeater use. I did ask if he could convert the amp for...

I found a option in the CPS to disable your radio from receiving text messages.
Click on "Network" look for "Control Station" and check the box that say's "Voice Only"

I finally got my Comtelco BS450XL6-C installed using 75' of Andrew Heliax LDF4 a 1/2 inch semi rigid coax. Now that i have the good coax,can someone suggest the best way to anchor Andrew LDF4 - 50A 1/2" Heliax Coax to the mast from the antenna down to prevent any strain on the n- connector attached to the antenna.
