Re: Broke XTS 3K display flex

While recasing my XTS 3k the display stuck to the case and I broke the flex. The display is still good, can I replace the flex (if so what is part number?) or do I need to purchase a new display and flex ( part number?kit number?). Thanks all in advance

You can not purchase the flex by itself ...

Followed proceedure on this site, ascii/hex edit the codeplug file and changed freq., saved file, loaded into radio using 3.0.1 MT1000 RSS without viewing file. When radio read back it shows 6m freq's but no beep on pwr on, no squelch etc.

LB MT1000 to 6m

I have a 42-50 mt 1000 on 42mhz. I did the file mod and loaded 6 meter freq. into it and it comes up dead, no audio, nothing. Reload original file and it works fine. Any ideas?

I used ram pod mounts for my Isuzu Trooper SUV, have control heads for the Yaesu dual band and HF mobile on pod mount and clamp/pod for my phone. They worked well and are easy to install. JMHO, cheers

I purchased some astro/r's from Audiowrks as well, just picked up some cheap as 1 cases on ebay and changed out the r's. They are much more useful this way.
