What model gateways did you get? If they're TRBO Gateways you'll need a radio connected to the gateway in order for the resource to go green and not error out on the console.
You should be able to fire up the PC, make sure the DCPM is running with no errors and then launch the MIP application.

Commercial series Global Tuner should do the trick. It's the same cable to align that it is to read. You only need the adapter to upgrade the firmware.

I would take the +5 and input that into an npn transistor with a 1k resistor. That will give you an active low signal that you can feed into the CDM.

Are you sure about your Capacity Plus programming? Does it work when you are local to the repeater? I've had some issues with the SLR5700 in Capacity Plus with older XPR6350's not accessing or passing audio. I even opened a case with Motorola which went nowhere. Remove busy channel lockout or channel free in TRBO gear and all your problems will be solved.

I find the delay on the TRBO vocoder is usually sufficient enough when going from analog to TRBO. I would just go radio to radio and give it a try.

The repeater didn't TX unless you were siting in front of it and disagree? You transmitted on the output of the repeater, that's why the receive radio received your text message.

Yes you'll need a control station unless you're using a console that does direct integration to a TRBO system like Avtec and a few other vendors do.

I think any local or tone remote solution should work fine. All accessory pin programming will have to be done through the option board. I don't think you can do COR on receive in Conn + so you'll have to do vox on receive.

MTR2000 COR Active during PTT
Has anybody seen this issue where any COR line on the MTR2000 goes active when the PTT line is used? I've tried PTT and COR off the J5 and J7 connector with the same results. The station is programmed as a base station.

I have used a NCS-C150 Two Radio Interop Switch from collcomm inc to link a P25 phase II digital to conventional analog with good success. I unhooked the radio interface at the Firecom intercom gateway. I haven't gotten into any deep troubleshooting as of yet. I was just looking to see if anybody else had seen this issue as it's a fairly common setup.

You can use Unicast if you just need two devices to talk to each other over a network. If you need multiple consoles / desk sets to talk to each other then Multicast is likely your only choice.

The IP-224 will work for you. Put the VHF radio on port 1 configured for local mode and the low band on port 2 configured for tone mode. Then just patch the two ports together on the web interface and you're off to the races.

Are you using emerg? If not you could jumper pin 7 & 9 together and just switch the main line to switched ignition power. This will turn the radio on whenever power is applied to the radio power connector. I know this solution isn't ideal but will keep this radio in service until they decided to...

You should be fine with that configuration. Just play with the accessory mic gain on the CM200 to achieve the desired repeat deviation.
