cdm1550 eprom cs error

I need some help reviving a cdm1550ls plus. I think we coruppted the codeplug. I could some ideas to get it going again.

One thing I have seen several times on CDM's is that error message when trying to program with something other than a real Motorola RIB.
And another issue I have seen is the same error on remote head radios.
I have been lucky enuf to get them going again by programming after changing them back to "front" mount radios, with the Moto RIB.
So, if either of those issues apply, give it a try.
Oddly, I have received a dozen of so in for repair. Changed them back to front mount, reprogrammed with the MOTO RIB, then put the remote kit BACK on and they worked fine.
Even was able to program with a KAWA-MALL "ribless" after that.

Newer version software has the error fixing utility built in, it informs you of the error while reading an has an auto fix that will fix this error.

What is the latest version for the cdm radios?

Current version of CPS is R06.12.05

Current mobile firmware version is R05.10.02

I got this radio recovered. Thanks for the help. I put the radio back to dash mount, used the factory rib and the cps realized the problem and asked if i wanted the default codeplug put back into the radio.
