FUD1847A - what does this indicate?

Post by g8tzl2004 »

I have a model 1 VHF MCS2000.

It has a label on top of the head with "FUD1847A" and a serial number (214SWY019*) which is not the same as the tag on the bottom of the radio.

I wonder if anybody knows what FUD1847A means - maybe it indicates that the MCS2000 was part of a repeater with a separate model number?

Any ideas?

Thanks
