Hey all.
Just wondering if anyone has experience and \or a recommendation for an add on voice storage board for a project I'm working on..
The board would get a 1 time recording that would need to be retained basically forever and would be replayed after a contact closure over a Motorola mobile radio (CM300d etc.) I would be adding a timer to the system to replay the message over and over until the system is reset to wait for the next alarm contact closure...
Am looking at a Midian VAE-1...
Any advice??

For a simple task like that I guess you can get the Midian to work the way you want. I've never tried the VAE-1, prefer to use a Zetron model 18 instead.
Lots and lots of watts...

We've used the CFSound unit in a number of applications. It's been reliable.

Capable of multiple messages, multiple inputs if required. Simple sound files on a SD card.

Are you thinking of the 1516? Yes, used that too, a good product.Bigred wrote:...prefer to use a Zetron model 18 instead.
