Quick Mount

Post by jim »

As of Dec 24, Valley Induistrial no longer offers Quick Mount kits for any products.

The QM division "is for sale to anyone that wants to battle Motorola's legal department."

In Other words, Motorola effed them up the 'ol pooper. Surprise, surprise.

OK, but why is their webpage still coming up as having product for sale?? Dec 24th was Sunday; assuming everyone took off Monday the 25th, and worked Tuesday & Wednesday, I'd expect this big kind of news to be immediately followed by a revamp of their web page...

Tho' I'll grant you the Kenwood 90 series is a kick-butt product!!

Inquiring mind...

Hey, don't worry about old Moto... they're busy working on their next big thing, an HT1250 with MP3 player built in.

Nick at Quickmount just confirmed the QM Division is for sale and they are not filling any more QM orders.Parts and warranty parts will be supported however. Not sure how much they are asking for the QM arm though.
QM said they will be sending out email and mailer flyers with notification of QM product cancellation.
