Yes, cut one end of the green pico fuse on the logic/audio board.mfdeng5 wrote:>

In the RSS i have to program ignition sense??
Re: Maxtrac help
Hello:
You only have to clip one side of the green pico fuse on the logic bd as Will stated .
No programming needed for ignition sense in the Maxtrac.

Hi guys, another stupid ? which side is logic board and where is pico fuse??? Kevin
Re: Maxtrac help
Remove control head, remove top and bottom plastics. I can't quite remember but I think it's on the bottom side of the radio, towards the back by the accessory plug, there is a little thing that says "cut for ign sense". It's actually located on the circuit board. Someone might have a pic.

Re: Maxtrac help
Once the Pico Fuse is cut, is it ever possible to use the radio again without the ignition sense function or would the fuse have to be replaced?

Re: Maxtrac help
Once the fuse is cut you either have to have voltage on the ignition sense pin or replace the fuse for the radio to turn on.
Most of the radio gets it's power through this fuse. Using the ignition sense pin bypasses the fuse, so you then need to use an external 2A fuse.
The pico fuse is pretty easy for a competent tech to replace.
