Can anyone advise if there is a feature in the CPS for darkening the pixel contrast on the radios screen?

Thanks,

Peter.

Take off the case. There is a small adjustable pot at the bottom of the display.
Turn it a few degrees. Put the case back on and turn on the radio to see which
way you've adjusted the display contrast. Repeat until you get it where you want
it to be.

Hellow gentleman,

I'm trying to use the above method to adjust the contrast however, it's not working for me. What type of tool do i need to perform this operation. To clarify, the "pot" is directly under the display more on the right side, correct?

Thanks
Steve

Holy smokes this is an old thread you've revived.

I haven't taken one of these apart in years, but yes, it's the round white 'screw' inside a silver square box right under the front of the LCD, to the right of some orange chips. A small screwdriver works well.
