APX7500 Consolette ?

Post by carbineone »

Does anyone know if they are going to make the APX7500 available in a consolette ? The other question would be what if any desksets (MC3000) would it work with?

If I had to be a bug on the wall in a board meeting, I would be surprised if they didn't come out with what your asking for. When will it be, who knows with the way they flow with the wind. I wouldn't expect it to be too far down the road.

Lord only knows. They never came out with an O5 XTL model! I have to assume that none of the current desksets would work, as they use a different control protocol; SB9600 vs GCAI. I would expect a APX6500 consollette to arrive first though, as I don't see as big of a market for a multi-band base station.

I spoke with Motorola yesterday and they have a consolette now in testing and look for it to be released soon.
