APX7000 VHF/UHF?

Post by kc2kvy »

I'm trying to confirm for a friend, does Motorola manufacture an APX7000 in the VHF/UHF dual band configuration?

Thanks.

Ah, awesome, thank you!

One other question: can you scan both bands concurrently, or can you only use one at a time? The only one I've ever used was a VHF/800, and you could only use one band at a time.

Yes you can. You should be able to do this on any APX that has both bands enabled. If you are mixing in trunked systems other rules apply.

You can scan each band sequentially, not concurrently.
