PM1500 VHF pinout

Post by njemt7212 »

Hey guys ,

Having trouble finding it , but does anyone have a pinout of the DB-25 accessory connector on the PM1500 unit? I am trying to make an adapter for a FireCom intercom system in our rescue truck.

thanks

Not trying to brush you off, but have you tried a search on here for the information? I believe that it has been asked and answered before. I would help, but I am not in the office to obtain the info for you. I don't think I have the manual on my laptop.

Found I had a copy of the PM1500 basic service manual with me. Here is the DB25 connector J600 on the front of the radio.

1 = AUX_PTT
2 = DCE_TX (RS232 TX data)
3 = DCE_RX (RS232 RX data)
4 = DCE_CTS
5 = BUS+ (SB9600 BUS+)
6 = AUX_RX_AUDIO (RX filtered audio)
7 = AUX_RX (audio input)
8 = AUX_TX
9 = same as pin 6
10 = GND
11 = GND
12 = DAC_AUDIO_OUT (control head audio out for siren)
13 = EMERGENCY
14 = BUS- (SB9600 BUS-)
15 = AUX_MIC (AUX MIC input)
16 = IGNITION SENSE
17 = DCS_RTS (RS232 RTS)
18 = GND
19 = RESET (SB9600 RESET)
20 = A+ (battery voltage)
21 = GND
22 = SWB+
23 = BUSY (SB9600 BUSY)
24 = SPKR -
25 = SPKR +
