Post by PY5FT »

Hi!
I want to buy a service manual for this equipment, printed paper or downloadable document:
"Motorola L3151(A) Tone Adapter". My trouble is with a (A) version, don't know if have more ones.
Thanks a lot, Antonio.

I don't have a manual and searching on the internet didn't provide much for results.

But it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. It is a 16 tone control for the CDM family of radios. Those radios use a BCD type control of the steering lines to change the channels in the radio through the external accessory connector.

Power could be obtained from the accessory connector along with ground.

Being a 4 wire line control, I would expect to see a screw terminal connection point, but I could be wrong.

Good luck on your hunt for a manual.
