Motorola MC2000-- still avaliable from the manufacturer?

Post by Lotus54 »

We have used the Motorola MC2000 Tone Remote deskset for years with great results.
It appears Moto discontinued them.

I can't remember the company that actually made them, perhaps they will be selling a model of this?

Any ideas?

MC2000 still shows as a current product.

Model L3216A (In Canada it's a L3216AC)

I finally got a reply from the rep.

the MC2000 is discontiuned.

Still making the MC2500 and MC1500.

No idea if the Canadian manufacturer will make a version.
Looks like we will go with Telex for now (although I don't like them as much)

thanks

Just get an MC2500. Same thing, it can just control more radios. Just use what you need.

I'd verify the MC2000 is still available though - we sold several within the last six months and have received no notice of cancellation.

The 2500 is more money...

Motorola Online shows it as discontinued, our rep says it is and I saw a list on the Moto web site saying it was.

Thanks for the ideas.

I think we will try out the latest Telex, even though I've had bad luck with Vega remotes in the past.
