MC2500 Help

Post by twowayradiony »

One issue I am having with the MC2500 is the MDC1200 Stun/Revive

When trying to send a stun page it would send but would not disable the radio. Yes I checked the other radios for proper programming.

Is there anywhere to change the timer for sending MDC1200 commands.

We are also using pre mdc1200 and I was wondering if I had to send the commands on a channel that we are not transmitting pre mdc1200 on

You don't say what radios you are transmitting the code to. So we don't know if the radios actually support being stunned or not.

Sorry... The Mc2500 is hooked up to CDM1250s and I am trying to send the stun command to both the HT1250 and Kenwood portables.

Check the pre-time of the MDC commands on the remote. Also verify that you have clean audio and proper levels, this can affect MDC signaling. It's fairly resilient, but not perfect.
