Comtegra to mtr2000 4 wire tone wiring

Post by akrovers »

Hi batboarders!

Looking for help with wiring a POS comtegra console to a mtr2000 repeater. MTR is set for 4 wire tone control. I have been unable to locate the pinout for connection to the comtegra. I belive the console is set to 2 wire on the line card. Can anyone advise on jumpers to set console impedance and set to 4 wire vs 2 ( as it is now set) also need help on pinouts for 4 wire input into the back of the console. Have searched high and low and cannot find a manual.

Thanks for any help

I have a pdf copy of the jumper and pin out pages. If you pm an address I will e-mail it to you.

Just a quick note for future searchers the comtegra wire line port pinout is (from left to right facing rear of unit)

Pin 1 4 wire TX+ or 2 wire TX/RX+
pin 2 4 wire TX- or 2 wire TX/RX-
pin 3 4 wire RX
pin 4 4 wire RX

jumper JU8 "A" position= 2 wire "B" position = 4 wire (channel 1)
jumper JU303 provides the same as above for channel 2

JU6, JU301, JU7, JU302 provide impedance matching for use of multiple consoles.

Hope this helps someone down the road.

You should check to see IF your Comtegra has a four wire board in it.
