MIP 5000 APX 1500

Does anybody know if an APX 1500 can be controlled from a MIP 5000 console using a local or digital gateway? I need to add several P25 Phase II radios to my MIP 5000. I don't need PTT IDs or anything, I just need to be able to transmit/receive and change talkgroups via the console.
